Haledon Museum Gives Sol Stetin Labor Awards Nov. 19

NORTH HALEDON, N.J. -- The Botto House National Labor Museum will present 2015 Sol Stetin Awards at a gala event Thursday, Nov. 19, at the Tides Estate.

Honorees will be recognized for their outstanding contributions to the well-being of working people.

The Gala is open to the public. The Sol Stetin Awards Gala is a major fundraiser for the Museum, and the public is warmly invited.

Honored will be Christopher Erikson, Local 3, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; Alphonso Rispoli, Joint Council 73 & Local 863, International Brotherhood of Teamsters; and Cliff Nolan, Heroes to Heroes at its 33rd Annual Awards Gala.

The Botto House American Labor Museum is the 1908 Victorian home of a silk mill worker, Pietro Botto and his wife Maria, where mill workers gathered during the 1913 strike when they were forced out of Paterson. It’s located at 83 Norwood St., Haledon.
